Easter

I am interrupting my series for a couple of posts, due to Easter. I cannot let this season pass without referring to the Cross of Christ, and His resurrection. These are the foundations of our faith in the absolute supremacy of Christ. Without His death there would be no forgiveness, no reconciliation with God, and no hope for the future. His resurrection vindicates His claim as Son of God and also gives us eternal life, as we believe in Him.

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday - the day when we celebrate Christ's resurrection. While many people simply take a few days off work and go to football matches, shop til they drop, or go on holiday, there are still millions who really do celebrate the fact that Jesus is alive, and lives and works in our lives day by day.

I wish you all, belatedly, a very happy holiday - and the blessing of walking with the Living Lord!
