WELCOME!

Welcome to my new blog! I hope that you will find it helpful, as well as interesting. If you feel put off by the 'theology' bit in the title you need not fear. Over many years of listening to literally thousands of sermons, and reading of hundreds of 'Christian' books, I think that I have just about done with 'Theology.' It is my belief that, over many centuries, the straightforward good news of Jesus Christ has become so overlaid with complex ideas and words as to be almost unintelligible by all but the professional theologians. I am quite convinced that God, who made human beings like you and me, wants us all to clearly understand His message to the whole world.
Hence the word 'simple' in the title, by which I mean 'clear, and easily to be understood. 'It is my aim therefore to do just that with a series of posts on 'Simple Christianity.' I realise that there are of course many subjects that are not very easy to explain, but I shall do my utmost, with God's help. As we progress I hope that you will be happy to comment, especially if I am failing to be clear and simple!
